Lithuania on the Way to the Euro in 2014

Euro is in the Lithuaniaa path for 2014 indicated by Virgis Valentinavicius an advisor to Andrius Kubilius the Prime Minister of Lithuania. This is great news for the country and the Baltic Region and will most likely help it’s economy. As Lithuania will have the upper limit accepted by the EU regarding it’s GDP – 2004 was the year Lithuania joined the European Union where it is required to adopt the Euro at a specific point but no target date has been established.

Virgis Valentinavicius said, “The most important thing are stable finances to meet the standards of the EU ”, the advisor carried on by saying, “the prime minister is sure that our country will meet them.”
